Steps of Choosing the Right Course to Study in Vietnam

Selecting the right study programme is one of the most difficult decisions to make. The options are endless and therefore, it is important to choose the right one. To choose the right course to study, abide by the following phases:

Find out what you want to do and why. Once you know that, determine why study abroad in Vietnam. Get the answers to the following questions-

Once you know your answers, you’ll have a clear picture of what you want to do. Then find out about the institutions offering the course you wish to pursue. Visit their official websites and know about the admissions, course structure, fees, services, career prospects, and other related things. Analyze each! Visit the institution on open days and know the opinions of the students already studying there. This will give you an insight about the environment and functioning of the institution. Balance out and then decide!

After you have decided the course and institution you want to enroll at, apply. Apply before the deadline!

Fill out the application form of the institution. Contact the concerned institution to know in details about the admission procedure.

For bachelor's degree programme: The basic admittance requisite for Bachelor’s study is a secondary school-leaving certificate.

For master's degree programme: The prerequisite for admission into a Master's degree programme is a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent. 

For doctoral degree programme: For doctoral studies, applicants must have a Master's degree or equivalent from a recognised or accredited higher education institution.  

If you’re selected, you’ll receive an official offer letter. Sign it and submit it back to the concerned institution.

There are many accommodation options available for students in Vietnam. The costs of accommodation vary depending upon the location, services and types of accommodation. Arrange accommodation. You must contact the institution where you've enrolled at to know about the accommodation facility offered by them.

After successful admission into the institution of your choice, apply for visa. Compile all the required documents like proof of adequate funds-bank statements, letter of acceptance from the institution or university visa application form and fee, passport-sized photographs and other important documents.
